Standart 15038:2006
We are proud to announce that we are now certified in the БДС EN 15038:2006 Standard “Translation services. Service requirements”! The certification was carried out by the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization.
The abovementioned standard is specially designed for this activity and it clearly and fully defines translation services and improves the quality control of the process as a whole. This is not just another evidence of our professional integrity but also brings us satisfaction and makes our efforts worthwhile.
arte.doc Arte.doc became one of the ten companies in Bulgaria also applying the certified standard for translation services EN 15038:2008.

Charity Initiative of arte.doc on the occasion of the International Translation Day
Translation and legalization Agency arte.doc shall celebrate International Translation Day – 30th September, by supporting a noble cause. The agency team, its translators, colleagues, and followers will dedicate this Day to the Foundation for Assistance for Children with Disabilities I Can Too and shall collect means for the Center for Children with Autism, which is being built by the foundation in Plovdiv city. On the 30th September from 15:00 to 19:00 in front of the office of arte.doc at No 6 Aleksandar Zhendov Str. there will be a charity sale of goods, bearing the logo of the foundation. The collected means will be granted to the project.
Anyone with the desire to support this noble cause is invited to the event. The guests will have the opportunity to become familiar with the goals of the Foundation and express their support by purchasing various accessories – T-shirts, bracelets, badges, postcards and a variety of other goods. The event will be conducted on the background of music, made by artists who support the cause and there shall be a glass of wine for you to celebrate the occasion. Those who have purchased T-shirts or other goods will be able to get photographed and their pictures will be uploaded on the sites of arte.doc and I can too.
Every employee of arte.doc will express their support by purchasing T-shirts with the logo of the Foundation.

Translation and legalization Agency arte.doc specializes in translation services and works with clients in Bulgaria and abroad since the year of 2000. It has been authorized by Directorate “Consular Relations” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make translations, which would be legalized by the Ministry, and is holder of Quality Certificate ISO 9001:2008. It has 4 offices at disposal in Sofia and works with over 30 full-time employees and over 250 freelance translators, editors and DTP specialists.
I Can Too is a foundation for assistance and integration of children with special needs in the society, created in 2006 by a private initiative. The foundation exists on the charity principle and receives gratuitous aid from people in different spheres of art, business, media, as well as government and non-government organizations.

BUSINESS FORUM “BULGARIA’S GREEN FUTURE“
On June the 30th, 2011 The Green Forum was held for the second time and it was organized by Manager Magazine and Globul, and was supported by the companies Henkel, NADIN, SIEMENS. The Forum included the representatives of the 130 member companies of the Green Circle, engaged in the pursuit of sustainable policies and taking the responsibility for nature and environment protection.
Occupational Health and Safety 2011
With regards to the provision of occupational health and safety at work, our arte.doc Agency continued its contract with the Service for occupational medicine and risk analysis STM PROFESSIONAL Ltd.
At a meeting of the Management, the following issues were discussed:
-revisions of the regulations about 2011
-control of the internal deeds and documentation
-rights, obligations and responsibilities of the participants in the work process, related to occupational health and safety.
After the analysis it was concluded that the Agency has followed all the rules to ensure occupational safety and health under Ordinance No. РД-07-2 and that it has provided occupational and medical service to its staff. Contact STM PROFESSIONAL Ltd

By the initiative of Akademika.bg, on the 1st of June - Children's Day, exactly at 10 a.m. the Agency’s staff joined the first simultaneous recital of the poem “I am a child of Bulgaria” (Az sam Balgarche).

National Social Security Institute’s competition
After having participated in an open call for tender with the subject of “Providing specialized translation and interpretation for the needs of the National Social Security Institute” arte.doc translation and legalization Agency was declared to be the winner and on the 1st of May, 2011 a contract for translation services for the needs of the NSSI was concluded.

On the occasion of the Easter Holidays, arte.doc translation and legalization Agency organized a corporate tournament at the prestigious Snooker and Billiard Center in our capital city. Eight teams were set up, each consisting of two members, with every team choosing its name to participate in the tournament. After three hours of tight playing the winners were announced and awarded with specially designed cups:

Medical and Dental Center under the Municipal Health Insurance Fund (MHIF)

Retirement Plan Seminar
arte.doc translation and legalization Agency held an interesting and useful informational and education seminar for the colleagues and employees. Its subject was “Mandatory and voluntary pension insurance” and presentation of Retirement Plan Company “Saglasie” Jsc.
The seminar was held on 21.01.2011 /Friday / at the Agency’s office on No. 6 Al. Zhendov str. The purpose of the seminar was for the participants to learn about the different options of the Retirement Plan on behalf of the employer, and also to get information for their options when choosing the Voluntary supplementary pension insurance.

Our company was successfully re-certified under ISO 9001:2008 by BUREAU VERITAS in December 2010.
We obtained a certificate by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and by the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB), which prove the high quality and professionalism of the services we offer.

arte.doc “Green” Action
Being directly involved in ecological initiatives and environmental activities, and being sympathetic to the problems of the urban environment that we all live in, arte.doc translation and legalization Agency carried out a charity action with the purpose to raise funds for the planting of trees in the yard of 98 “Sv.Sv. Kiril I Metodiy” Primary School and for the promoting among youngsters of the significance of preserving nature for society. Different types of trees were bought with the funds raised, and they were planted in the school yard, with the active participation of its students.
Of course, the children were most enthusiastic.
The planting of the trees turned into an “Echo Celebration”.
